I am proud to announce Becky McFadden as the treasurer for my 2019 City Council Place 1 Campaign! Becky will be a tremendous asset to my campaign and I am excited to have her on the team.
Becky is the owner/broker of RE/MAX Kerrville, and has been selling the Texas Hill Country for over 28 years. Becky moved to Kerrville in 1986 with her husband Bruce and two sons. She is an outstanding member of the Kerrville community and feels blessed to have an expansive family of friends that she’s met and cultivated relationships with over her lifetime.

On Monday, January 7th, Gary Cochrane announced via Facebook that he is running for Kerrville City Council, Place 1.
“After considering running for several elections in the past, I have decided the time is right for me step into the arena.” said Cochrane. “I feel that with my past experience, my lifelong love of Kerrville and the support of my family and friends I am ready to take on the challenge of helping Kerrville continue to move in a positive direction.”
Gary was born and raised in Kerrville, attended Tivy and Starkey Elementary School, graduated from Tivy High School and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas. He returned to Kerrville and worked with his father, Earl Cochrane, in the insurance business and He and his wife, Vickie have made Kerrville their home. Both of his children, Travis and Samantha, were raised in Kerrville.
Gary is a real estate broker with RE/MAX Kerrville and continues to be an active part of the Kerrville business scene.
“I have watched Kerrville grow over the years and am excited about the possibility of being a part of that continued process. My work over the past years with the Kerrville Economic Improvement Corporation, the Kerrville Board of Realtors and other organizations have helped prepare me to take the next step, running for City Council.”
Gary spent five years on the Kerrville EIC, serving as Chairperson for his last term. He has served on the Kerrville Board of Realtors both as a committee chairman and as President. He has also been active in the Hill Country Walk to Emmaus and is a past president of Habitat for Humanity.
